The i-Bolt® Technology takes the end users fasteners and places a permanent transducer (only 50 microns thick) at the top or the bottom of each bolt. Form, fit or function of the fastener is not affected or changed. Unlike conventional ultrasonics, the technology doesn’t require parallel surfaces and is not dependant on common transducer attachment procedures. Each bolt type and joint is first ultrasonically qualified by LCT. The end user fills out an Application Information Form (AIF) for each joint/bolt type. LCT replicates the end user’s joint, generates the ultrasonic parameters and stores the ultrasonic signatures (including the zero load reading) of each individual bolt against their respective unique id’s in the transducer embedded 2-D barcode. Once a joint/bolt type is qualified it is so for the life of it –bolts can be ordered indefinitely. So, once the end user receives the i-Bolts they are ready to be used. The transducer is permanent and enables load inspections and tightenings throughout the life of the joint at any time with near perfect repeatability.

LoadMaster 3500 LoadMaster® 3500
The LoadMaster® 3500 (LM3500) is a portable, fully featured unit for tightening to a target load or for inspecting load at any time after assembly (seconds, weeks, years, etc.). It will store full tightening curves of "load vs. time" and has the capability to also generate Torque-Tension curves when used with the LoadMaster® Torque/Load Hand Wrench. Data is taken in the actual joint with zero disturbance (no turn of the nut, no bolt drilling or cutting, etc. required). All measurements are automatically recorded and converted into Excel spreadsheets along with analytical templates for curve plotting, including graphical representation of friction parameters. It includes all the accessories needed for inspection and assembly plus the i-Probe (integrated inspection device). The LoadMaster® DataManager software is provided.

Load-Controlled Impact Wrench LoadMaster® 5032

The LoadMaster® 5032 is a Multiplexer that allows the LoadMaster® 3500 to continuously monitor up to 32 fasteners at the same time. The number of fasteners to be monitored is programmable as is the length of time between load readings. The Multiplexer sequentially selects each of the programmed channels and performs a one to two second inspection reading on each fastener. Data logging in Excel format is available via the standard Load Control Technologies Data Manager software (included). The LoadMaster® 5032 is ideal for long term load measurements either in the lab or in real world applications. It includes 32 bolt load probes with embedded high speed thermistors.

Load-Controlled Impact Wrench LoadMaster® 2000

The LoadMaster® 2000 (LM2000) is a single channel, stackable ultrasonic module for continuous monitoring of load in a critical bolt/joint. Each module measures dynamic loads in one bolt/joint. There is no limit to the number of modules that can be stacked together, hence there is no limitation to the number of bolts/joints that can be monitored simultaneously. This unit is ideal for continuous dynamic load measurements either in the lab or in real world applications with remote monitoring capability. Each module includes a bolt load probe, cable and embedded high speed thermistor.

Loadmaster 4500 Loadmaster® 4500

The LoadMaster® 4500 (LM4500) is a panel mount unit that provides load control or load monitoring for existing DC single spindle nut runners. It is applicable to most major brands and tool manufacturers.

When used with existing tool controllers, it connects and communicates without affecting their current functionality. It allows the customer to switch between Torque or Torque/Angle control and Load control, or just to monitor Load during the current tightening methodology. ± 3% installed load accuracy is achieved independent of operator and tool brand.

Every tool is equipped with a spring-loaded contact pin in their respective drives. This provides contact between the transducers on the bolt and the LoadMaster® 4500, which is included with the LoadMaster® 4500.

Loadmaster 1000 Loadmaster® 1000

The LoadMaster® 1000 (LM1000) is a portable, production-ready, fully featured unit for inspecting load at any time after assembly of a bolted joint (seconds, weeks, years, etc.). All measurements are automatically recorded and converted into Excel spreadsheets and include operator, time, date, and application. Loadmaster 4000 Loadmaster® 4000

The LoadMaster® 4000 (LM4000) is a stand-alone controller for pneumatic tools including impact wrenches. It provides load control with ±3% installed load accuracy independent of operator and tool brand or type. There is embedded dynamic air control.

Every tool is equipped with a spring- loaded contact pin in their respective drives. This provides contact between the transducer on the bolt and the LoadMaster® 4000. Tool modification is included with the LoadMaster® 4000.
